An individual
applying to be a Big Brother or Big Sister
mentor to a child, has provided your name as a
reference. Please thoroughly answer the
questions below. We assure you
that your answers will be held in confidence. (PLEASE
NOTE: Your reference may be the last step
in getting a Big Brother or Big
Sister for an at-risk child...please complete as soon as possible in
order to keep the process moving.)
But first, here's a little about
our programs:
-
In our
community-based
mentoring program, a Big Brother/Big
Brother gets to share activities with a
child that they both enjoy! That might
include fishing, playing board games, baking
cookies, or going to ball games. They get to
enjoy these fun times two or three times a
month with a Little Brother or Little
Sister, on their own schedule.

We also have a
school-based mentoring programs in which the Big
visits their Little Brother or Little Sister
each week at their school for a shared
activity that builds positive mentoring
relationship.
With this information in mind,
