 Bowl for Kids' Sake
Bowl For Kids' Sake is not about bowling…it's about having a ball while raising money to serve the kids throughout Will, Grundy, Kankakee and Iroquois counties. Bowl For Kids' Sake is the largest annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters, providing funds to offer positive mentoring relationships for thousands of kids in our communities. Today, the event spans two months and includes bowling centers throughout our 4-county service area. Most of the participants form teams through their company or organization. And yes, we still have Big Brothers and Big Sisters, along with their Little Brothers and Little Sisters, who help us Bowl For Kids' Sake.
 'BIG' Finale
The most anticipated fundraiser
of the year is the delightfully delectable 'BIG' Finale - 2 hours of
chef-created desserts to change a child's life! Here you'll find an array of
mouth-watering desserts by local pastry chefs, along with music and
fabulous auctions. Past dessert creations included coconut macadamia
chocolate cake, green tea cupcakes with red bean frosting, peanut butter
mousse canapé with chocolate shortbread, decadent brownie mousse shots
topped with Belgian white chocolate shavings, a
chocolate mousse cup with raspberry sauce, s’mores brownies, pumpkin
ginger mousse, and pear/almond frangipane and strawberry/cranberry
