Relations / Marketing Interns are involved in virtually all aspects of
public relations
in the non-profit arena.
Job
description includes: assist in planning events, assist in
planning fundraisers, writing and sending out press releases,
PSA's and other office correspondence such as requests for
donations and thank you letters, assist in writing and
assembling newsletter. Light filing and phone work,
possibilities for public speaking, and planning public relations
campaigns.
Qualifications: Enrollment in college
undergraduate or graduate program, one year experience in youth
service or educational institution involving direct client
service; project management, and communication skills; reliable
transportation and valid driver’s license; successful completion
of criminal background and driving history check.
We ask
that you commit 10-20 hours a week but are flexible and will
work around your school schedule.
